01
Who You Are
1. How would you describe what you do right now — not your title, not your resume. The real version of how you show up and what you actually do well.
2. What have you spent the last 5–10 years getting exceptionally good at? Not just your job — your actual expertise, your instincts, the thing you do that others can't quite replicate.
3. What do people come to you for — formally or informally? What do colleagues, friends, or peers ask your opinion on or bring you into?
4. What's the work that makes you lose track of time? When are you most in your element?
5. What's the work that drains you even when you're good at it? This is just as important as the above.
02
The Problem You Solve
6. What is the problem you are uniquely positioned to solve? Not generally — specifically. Who has this problem and what does it cost them when it goes unsolved?
7. What do you know about this problem that most people don't — or that most people get wrong?
8. Who is the person or organization that needs you most right now? Describe them as specifically as you can — their situation, their frustration, what they've already tried.
9. What results have you created for people — in any context, paid or unpaid, formal or informal? What actually changed because of your involvement?
10. What would people say about working with you if you weren't in the room?
03
What You Want to Build
11. When you imagine your name being synonymous with something — a result, a solution, a transformation — what is it? What do you want to be THE person for?
12. What does the work look like when it's exactly right? How are you spending your time, who are you working with, and what are you delivering?
13. What have you been talking yourself out of building, offering, or claiming?
14. What's the version of this you'd build if you weren't worried about what people would think — or whether it would work?
04
What's in the Way
15. What's stopped you from building this before now? Be honest — not the practical answer, the real one.
16. What's the thing you already know you need to do but keep finding reasons not to?
17. Where do you need the most support right now — clarity on what to build, confidence to charge for it, help packaging it, someone to hold you accountable, or something else?
